2014 Plant Engineering HXPUG Meeting Kicks Off First Week of February
St. Petersburg Beach, Florida will host the 2014 Plant Engineering Heat Exchanger Performance User Group (HXPUG) meeting February 4-5, 2014. Nuclear industry professionals from across the country will join to present and discuss the pressing news and new technology in the heat exchanger industry, including maintenance and performance.
The annual meeting will be supplemented by a technical advisory board, held separately on February 6, 2014, as well as a Heat Exchanger Design Bases and Margin Training session open to participants of the HXPUG meeting, by invite only, February 6, 2014.
Personnel in attendance will include heat exchanger system engineers, performance engineers and component engineers. The main focus of the symposium is the reliability and optimized performance of plant heat exchangers, with system safety as an integral aspect of the discussion.
Though agenda topics have not been released at this time, interested engineers can check back here for more information about the speaker line up and schedule.
Attendance fees vary depending on membership, and spots are limited to two individuals per company. Many of HEPCO’s heat exchanger plug clients will be making the trip to Florida for this illustrious event, and they hope to expand their network of industry professionals by sharing new ideas, discussing important safety concerns and further ensuring the dependability of plant heat exchanger systems around the country.
