What Materials Do We Use?

Our heat exchanger tube plugs are made of high-grade silicone, which can withstand temperatures above 500°F. Unlike black neoprene plugs, our tube plugs for heat exchangers and condensers will not deteriorate over time.

The individual components that make up our tube plugs for condensers are durable as well. The washers and collars on our plugs are made of non-water-soluble Hytrel®, which can withstand temperatures up to 248°F.

To make our quality plugs, our high-grade silicone and Hytrel® components are next combined with one of the following options:

• Brass

• 316 or 304 stainless steel

• Titanium

• High-strength, glass-reinforced polymer (Ultem® 2300)
